Fall 2002- While at a Boy's Town training meeting, founding members, Larry Johnson and Bob Gill decided to form a band to kick off the first day of school.  Other band members were needed to be selected, as well as a name for the band.

The first suggestion for the band's name was "Men With Hats".  Since our school does not allow hats in school, that suggestion was quickly dropped, and Men at School was brought to the table.  After tweaking the name several times, the band became know as mEn@sChOOL.  Notice that the capital letters in our logo spell E-COOL. Just as e-mail and e-commerce were developed in the late 90's, we became the founders of E-COOL in 2000.
