When Laurie and I got married, we had both decided that we would wait until she graduated from college before we talked about children. This story is about a vision I saw while attending a Church service in Rochester, MN. In the middle of the service, a boy baby came spinning out of the Cross in the front of the Church, and appearing before my eyes. The vertical rotating baby stopped in front of my eyes, and God revealed to me that it was definitely a boy.  This vision came weeks before Laurie actually new she was pregnant. That happened at a routine doctor's appointment. After examining her, the doctor said, "By what I'm seeing, you are about 10 weeks along. Laurie gasped for air, and said, "I can't be!"... But she was! I called the baby Matthew through the whole pregnancy. Matthew means "Gift from God". Our baby boy was born May 23rd.

God is amazing - I was blessed to see the my first Gill Baby about eight months before his birth. I was sitting in church, in the choir, and kind of zoning out (typical), and suddenly in front of my eyes, I saw a vision of a baby! – all I could remember is that it kind of looked like a Gerber baby with chubby cheeks. I thought to myself, who in this choir could be having a baby- most of us aren't that young anymore! I told my wife Laurie about the vision, and she happened to bring it up at our Sunday meal with Grandma, and my son, Matt, and his wife, Kacy. Kacy knew about my vision of Matt before his was born, so after Kacy and Matt left our house, she immediately had Matt take her to Walgreens to buy a pregnancy test. Guess what???, Kacy was pregnant! It wasn't in their plans yet, but it WAS in God's plans!

Be Thou My Vision
